How the six-month perk works
Go live on OmniTender
Apply, get approved on partner rails, and start accepting payments. Gift cards stay locked until you hit six months active.
Month four — get ready
We reach out for logo, program name, and load amounts. Optional: quote plastic from our vetted print partners.
Month six — program live
After human review, we enable your dashboard tools and balance page. Sell cards at the counter; customers redeem with ID + PIN.
Common questions
Is this a Visa gift card?
No. These are closed-loop cards good only at your business — simpler, cheaper, and designed for local shops and boutiques.
Can I get gift cards on day one?
The perk unlocks at six months so we support merchants who commit to the relationship. Payment processing is available from go-live.
Who holds the money on the card?
You do, as the merchant issuer. OmniTender tracks balances and redemptions; settlement stays on your existing payment relationship.
